Loaded a load of hay alone and chored about. Went up to D oviatts, Post office twice & cut weeds.

2 September 1883 • Sunday

went up to Kaysville after Aunt.

3 September 1883 • Monday

Took a load of hay to S.L. City. Sold to Felt for $12.80/100, brought B. F. Ks. Amvalanch up from H. J. Rs.

4 September 1883 • Tuesday

Prepared to go to Nephi

5 September 1883 • Wednesday

Frank, Nerva, Alice & Jr I went to Nephi;

6 September 1883 • Thursday

Went from Nephi over to the Fenner Ranch & back, [p. 40]

7 September 1883 • Friday

Returned from Nephi all OK.

8 September 1883 • Saturday

Fixed up the hay stacks & roped them & took Lady & Nannie down to King’s.

9 September 1883 • Sunday

Attended conferance in the grove.

10 September 1883 • Monday

Took rack off the wagon & picked plums in the forenoon, picked corn and halled a load of sand & chored about for the folks in the afternoon.

11 September 1883 • Tuesday

Shucked corn & hauled 2 loads and took Aunt Alice home.

12 September 1883 • Wednesday

Hauled corn all day

attended Teachers Quorum & ward meeting and wrote to Steve & Willard.

Took the Grover cow & calf up the canyon; brought down some boyes, repaired the rack and loaded a load of hay.

18 September 1883 • Tuesday

Took a load of hay to S.L.C. for Dr. H. J. R.

19 September 1883 • Wednesday

Got my gun repaired, and loaded a load of hay for town.

Wind began to blow in the evening.

20 September 1883 • Thursday

Wind blew all night [p. 41]

Chored about home and prepared to go to S. L. City.

22 September 1883 • Saturday

Went to S. L. City with hay.

23 September 1883 • Sunday

went to see Lou & children also went down to Clarks with Alice. Fred came from Cache in the evening.

24 September 1883 • Monday

Reset one of our Shade trees and chored about home.

Steve came from Cache in the afternoon on the cars.

25 September 1883 • Tuesday

Steve, Fred & I went to S. L. City with Nannie & Madam.

26 September 1883 • Wednesday

Took Steve to the depot for S.L.C. Hauled some lumber from Whipples and hauled loads of cane stocks.

27 September 1883 • Thursday

Took Steve to the Depot for N.Y. Hauled cane stocks, gathered the sweet corn from B.F.K’s. field, went to Depot and got furniture for Lou, and Helped T.B. Clark load a load of hay for Town.

28 September 1883 • Friday

Hauled 2 loads of cain stalk mowed weeds, and went up to Tarman’s old place on the bench.
