On the 16th inst. we were favored with a visit from our esteemed Sister, E. R. S. Smith [. . .] Sister Smith was very earnest in her endeavors to impress upon the sisters, and especially the young, the necessity of learning for themselves of the truth of this work, and to be true to their covenants and their God. She also bore a faithful testimony to the truth of celestial marriage, as revealed to the Prophet Joseph Smith.
