[. . .] Miss E. R. Snow informed the sisters that they would have the opportunity of representing themselves at the Centennial next year. It was to be a national affair, and not a religious one, and every creditable specimen of home-work from a collar to a carpet would be accepted; she alluded to what Joseph Smith had said concerning the great of the earth coming to Zion to purchase the finest fabrics, for they would be manufactured by the Saints.
