Presses. [Presidentess] Eliza. R. Snow. being present from Salt. Lake. City. and also her Councr. [Counselor] Zina. D. [H.] Young with Preses. [Presidentess] Jane [S.] Richards, and others of Ogden Sister Snow then addressed the Meeting on numerous subjects spoke of the first Organization of the Relief Society at Nauvoo and said it was similar to the Organization of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints she also spoke of the many duties belonging to Wemon [women] in training up their Children in the way they should go. and of the previleges Wemon have in doing good besides their home duties that we enjoy more of the Spirit of God when we perform our public duties and that we Should not let Small things deter us from attending our meetings spoke of the important duties of teachers in being qualified to instruct in such a manner as to revive those who had grown cold if any Such their [there] be said it would not do for a Saint of god to become disheartened what mettered [mattered] all our privations So [n.p.] we but gain an inheritance in our fathers kingdom recommended the young Sisters to qualify themselves to act as secritarys She Counceled the Sisters to take the exponant thought it well worth the attention of the Sisters of zion said the Sphere of woman is broad and is Still growing while Some are awake to their iduties [duties] others seem to be indiferent she also advised us to see that our Endoument [endowment] cloth[e]s were made after the right pattern [. . .]
[. . .] each expresed themselves as having been highly edified in listning to the remarks already made gave good council to the young thought we S[h]ould all try to imitate the examples set by Sisters Snow and Young
