Sister E. R. Snow felt proud of her Sisters, and felt honored by having so many bretheren present; our interests were one, there are no seperate interests in Zion.

Gave the Sisters some excellent instructions pertaining to our duties in every day life also spoke of the responsibilities resting upon the Sisters in this momentuous age, urged them to go to work at home industries, and draw out of the elements all that we can to make ourselves self sustaining, called all that had home made Hats on to rise up; told us to have faith and we could raise silk, said we must store grain, and respond to every call made upon us by the Priesthood, and always be obedient to the authorities placed over us; she also bore a strong testimony to Plural Marriage, said she knew it was of God, that the Prophet, Joseph Smith taught her the principle, and she felt proud of it, entreated the sisters not to speak against it if they did not believe it say nothing against it, prayed God, to bless the Saints in the name of Jesus. [n.p.] [. . .]

Sister L. [Louisa] L. Richards spoke a few words, said she was delighted with the instructions, and hoped we should profit by them and put them in practice.

Bishop [Jared C.] Roundy said he was very thankful for the instructions we had heard, that he believed the order of Plural Marriage was of God, that he was thankful he had never opposed it, prayed God, to bless the sisters in their mission.

Pres, Sister Roundy, said she was greatly blessed, that it was a time she should not soon forget [. . .] [n.p.]
