Sister Snow maid a few remarks explaning the meaning of those organizations. she also asked a great many questions which was answered by the children. She then presented Sister Sarah D Curtis as a president for this Association A vote was then called and carried unnanimosly. [. . .] Sister Snow them related a few interesting anicdotes to the children. related the incident of Danneil [Daniel] in the den of Lions also the great attention of the indians to brother Joseph [Smith] in speaking to them, and wished the children to give equal attention, she then wished to have the names of the children enroled that ware [were] presant.
