A according to appointment by Sister E R Snow a meeting of the sisters [. . .] present on the stand Sisters E R Snow, M I [Mary Isabella] Horne, Mrs [Elizabeth A.] Howard and Mrs E [Elvira S.] Barney of Salt Lake City [. . .] sister E R Snow who gave some excellent instructions and counsel to the sisters upon the various duties of the saints. &. [. . .] when Sister E R Snow arose and said she understood the Sisters were organized in two Societies. she would desire an organization of all the Sisters in one Society and called in the Sister, to know if they were willing to unite in one, proposed, seconded and carried that we organize in one Society the meeting was then adjourned to half past seven in the evening [. . .] [p. 1]
