At 11 o’clock this morning according to appointment, met the Children in a meeting capasity with Miss E R Snow. Pres: [Lydia P.] Rich also several of the Fathers and Mothers. Miss E R Snow called all the children to the front seats instructed them in the nature of singing, and prayer. [. . .]

Sister E R Snow, Told the story of Daniel in the Lions Den. Catechised them upon simple points in Church History, Geography, &c and by the force of her will gained power over the children.¹
