Snow Arose and Said She felt well here to day and exhorted the Sisters to be united and sustain the Prst [Catherine Smithurst] said we Should Show our faith by our works Said if there was anyone that did not belong to the Socity they Ought to for they must be servi[n]g someone She then ask if ther[e] were anyone drawing Suport, ask if ther were anyone there that had on home made. Spoke of Storing grain gave some instructions on purail [plural] Marriage exhorted th[e] Sisters not to say a word against it. [. . .] Sister [Elizabeth A.] Davis said as the time was advanced she would not Speak long but felt [p. 17] like endorsing all that had been said by Sister Snow [. . .] Bisp [Thomas] Brough then said we had had a long meeting said he was pleased to sisters and to hear the instructions that had been given and hoped the sisters here would profit by them Brother Thomas Whelch said he had listened to what had been said and felt like endorsing it all [. . .] [p. 18]
