[. . .] Prayer by Sister Eliza R. Snow. [. . .]
Mrs Rachel [R.] Grant [. . .] Knew for herself that there were great blessings for us in attending to our duties, and being punctual at our meetings Sister Grant then called upon Sister E. R Snow to make a few remarks who said she thought there were others who ought to speak, Sister Snow referred to Sister Grants remark with regard to her duties Said all our duties comprised our religion. there was not any time to spare for there was much to be done, and we need to pray for wisdom to take hold of that. that would do the most good and be prepared as minute woman. Spoke of receiving a letter from St George in which it stated that 8 Sisters were appointed to act as missionaries to hold meetings in and around the vicinity to preach and exhort.
Felt that a great portion of the work pertaining to the salvation of souls, would devolve upon the Sisters, who were alive to their duties
Sister Zina D. [H.] Young [. . .] Felt that the Lord was with all who were alive to their duties. [. . .] [p. 245]
