Sister E R Snow Wished the Sisters to make themselves good Speakers By practising in their own meetings. thought it would be well to Choose a Subject to speak upon Said She desired to do right. [p. 44]

She was glad that the young Sisters would act as Deacons as She Felt that the Spirit of God Could not dwell in a dirty Room1 prayed the Lord to bless us. [. . .] [p. 45]
