Francis Marion Davis was born on 10 April 1859 to Silas Davis and Caroline Mitchell in Clinton, Indiana. He came to Utah Territory in 1892 and settled in Tooele, Utah Territory, as a physician. He married Annie Lang and then Phoebe Elkington after Annie died. In addition to working as a physician, he served as mayor of Tooele. He died on 27 August 1937 in Tooele.[1]
