Born at Churchville, Monroe County, New York; daughter of Mary Thompson Hill and Josiah Flint Willard. Elected president of the National Woman’s Christian Temperance Union, 1879. Helped organize the Prohibition Party, 1882. Elected president of the National Council of Women, 1888. Elected president of the World’s Woman’s Christian Temperance Union, 1891.
