Half-white resident of Wailua, Kaua‘i; attended meeting held by the Latter-day Saints in January 1854; donated fifteen to twenty pounds of beef to the missionaries on Kaua‘i; jailed on embezzlement charges in February 1854; served as interpreter for the Hawaiian legislature in 1866; exiled in later life to the Kalaupapa leper colony on Moloka‘i.
