Jane Amanda Stevens Bullock Lewis

1826 — 1855

Older sister of Elvira Woodbury; born in Gerry, New York; baptized in New York along with other family members in 1843; moved to Nauvoo, Illinois, where she married Kimball Bullock in 1846; following his death, married Philip B. Lewis in 1848 at Winter Quarters, Nebraska; immigrated with her husband to Utah that same year; left with her husband for mission to Pacific in 1851; stationed with her husband at Honolulu; sick during much of her time in Hawai‘i; left Hawai‘i for California in November 1854; died in San Bernardino, California, while her husband was still on mission.
