Henry Fairbanks

1826 — 1902

Born in Pequannock, New Jersey; baptized in 1844; moved with his family to Nauvoo, Illinois, that same year; joined Mormon Battalion in 1846; remained in California following discharge; partnered with Eleazer and Sterling Davis to operate the Six Miles House east of Sacramento in 1850; moved to Iowa in 1851; lived in Illinois between 1860 and 1871; moved to Kansas, where he died.
