Charles Barber Taylor

1819 — 1895

Born in Stockport, Cheshire, England; married GQC’s stepmother, Mary Edwards White Cannon, in St. Louis, Missouri, 1847; father of Charles E. and Thomas E. Taylor; reached Salt Lake Valley by 1850; served mission to Europe, 1863–1865; butcher by profession; died in Salt Lake City.
