Hyrum White Lee was born to Samuel Francis Lee and Ann Dodd White on 24 February 1872 in Tooele, Utah Territory. He married Lillian Estella Robinson on 27 November 1896 in Salt Lake City, Utah. He was a blacksmith who, at different times, operated a shop in Tooele, worked at the Tooele smelter, labored on the railroad, and taught classes in metal working at the University of Utah. Lee died on 24 May 1958 in Salt Lake City.[1]
