George Craner

1 June 1829 — 17 July 1904

George Craner was born on 1 June 1829 to George Benjamin and Elizabeth West Craner in Warwickshire, England. He immigrated to the United States in 1851 and came to Utah Territory in 1852. He married Sarah Emma Jenkins on 1 January 1857 and had twelve children with her. Craner served on the Tooele City Council for eleven years and was Tooele’s treasurer for six years. He also taught Sunday School for thirty-five years. Craner died on 17 July 1904.[1]
