Born 3 Dec. 1817 in Petersham, Worcester Co., Massachusetts.[1] Daughter of David Woodward and Deiadama Hare.[2] Sister of EBW.[3] Married first Henry Hinsdale Granger, 30 Mar. 1837, at Hardwick, Worchester Co.; six children.[4] Widowed, 30 Oct. 1864.[5] Married second George R. Hewlings, 17 Oct. 1867, in Porter Co., Indiana.[6] Wrote poems that appeared in the Contributor, the Woman’s Exponent, and the Magazine of Poetry: A Quarterly Review.[7] Died 23 Apr. 1901 in Salt Lake City; buried in Chicago.[8]
