Inez Didaina Earl

19 August 1852 — 10 July 1930

Born 19 Aug. 1852 in Utah Territory.[1] Daughter of Justus Earl and Adeline Woodward.[2] Niece of EBW.[3] Completed teacher training at St. Mark’s School, 29 May 1875.[4] Attended the Territorial Teacher’s Normal Institute, Aug. 1875.[5] Taught school in Logan, Cache Co., Utah Territory, by 1880.[6] Married Samuel T. Godbe, 1880; five children.[7] Gave EBW a rose and a gold piece on the birthday of a cousin who was killed in the Civil War; EBW gave her a copy of her poetry book, Musing and Memories, 18 Oct. 1902.[8] Moved to Los Angeles, by 1904; delegate to the Los Angeles Co. Women’s Suffrage Convention, Oct. 1904.[9] Died 10 July 1930 in Los Angeles.[10]
