Daisie Dean Dunford

5 June 1868 — 5 July 1950

Born 5 June 1868 in Salt Lake City.[1] Daughter of William Dunford and Melvina Whitney.[2] Granddaughter of Emmeline B. Wells.[3] At some point after her mother’s divorce from William Dunford and marriage to William W. Woods, took the surname Woods.[4] Taught school in Logan, Cache County, Utah Territory, 1887.[5] Studied music at the New England Conservatory in Boston, 1887–1888.[6] Frequent correspondent with Emmeline B. Wells.[7] Moved to Wallace, Shoshone County, Idaho Territory.[8] Married Henry Richmond Allen, 12 December 1892, in Shoshone County.[9] School trustee for Wallace, 1899.[10] Moved to Spokane, Spokane County, Washington, by late December 1900.[11] Moved to Pasadena, Los Angeles County, California, by 1930.[12] Died 5 July 1950 in Los Angeles.[13]
